Client Input on Products and Services

Client Input on Products and Services

No one knows your institution or its needs better than you. That's why we ask clients to help actively steer the development of key Datatel products and services that will have maximum impact on higher education institutions.

Client Feedback Comes in Many Forms

Datatel solicits feedback concerning its products and services from many of its more than 725 client institutions that serve on advisory teams and task forces, participate in focus groups and surveys, and host site visits for prospective clients. Datatel clients also host sessions and roundtable discussions, in conjunction with Datatel employees, at the annual and regional Datatel Users' Group conferences.

The Role of Client Advisory Teams

One way Datatel clients provide input is by participating on a Client Advisory Team (CAT). As a Datatel client, you can be instrumental in developing the solutions your institution needs most. CAT members meet regularly to:

  • Identify and prioritize new and existing technology requirements
  • Share success stories, best practices, and experiences
  • Serve as early adopters or beta testers
  • Recommend new Datatel Professional Services offerings
  • Assist with the planning and evaluation of various sessions and tracks at the annual Datatel Users' Group Conference
