In July 2006, The Higher Learning Commission accepted the Baker College System as a participant in its Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) — an alternative form of higher education accreditation that employs a quality improvement model. To prepare for the demanding AQIP process, the Baker College System called on the Datatel Center for Institutional Effectiveness (DCIE) for guidance. Now, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is a firm part of the System’s administrative and academic culture.

Monmouth College
