Airports:

We recommend flying into Dulles International Airport because of its close proximity to Datatel's offices (11 miles). When making return flight arrangements, allow two hours to get from Datatel/your hotel to the flight gate at Dulles.

Other area airports include Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (21 miles from Datatel) and Baltimore Washington International Airport (60 miles from Datatel).

The Amtrak Dulles bus station is a service-less station that is not manned with Amtrak personnel and is a pick-up and drop-off station only. This station is a bus stop for Amtrak/Greyhound buses that originate from Union Station. Please contact Amtrak for bus schedules and ticket information.

Union Station is a fully staffed train station located in Washington D.C. It services Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express (VRE) trains. The station offers taxi service and access to the Metro is available. National Car Rental and Budget Rent-A-Car agency’s onsite as well as Taxi service and access to the Metro’s Red Line. If taking the Metro from Union Station, please get on the Red Line train towards Grosvenor. Get off at the third stop, Metro Center, and get on the Orange Line train towards Vienna/Fairfax –GMU. Get off at Vienna Metro station, the last stop on the Orange Line. Total fare is $3.20 (Peak, 5:30-9:30 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays), $2.10 (Off-Peak, all other times), and takes approximately 40 minutes.

Vienna Metro Station is the closest metro station to Datatel. Taxi, bus, and shuttle service is available from the station. Station hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. – 11:25 p.m. on weekdays and at 8 a.m. – 11:25 p.m. on weekends.

Local Transportation:

Consider renting a car, especially if you will be with us for several days. A car will give you greater mobility in the evenings and at lunchtime. Those not renting a car may wish to consider one of these options:

The cost is $20.00 per person one-way, payable in advance or to driver on-site. Pre-arranged reservations should be canceled 24 hours in advance. Credit cards will reflect the credit within 48 hours of cancellation. Please request a cancellation number. Reservations may be made 24 hours a day. Clients arriving at the airport without reservations will be accommodated on a first come, first serve basis. Clients with advance reservations will receive priority.
Super Shuttle
Advance reservations are required. The cost is approximately $22.00 per person between Fair Lakes and Dulles. Service is available 24 hours a day.
Washington Flyer
This taxi service charges approximately $22.00 from Dulles to Fair Lakes.
Fair Lakes Shuttle
The Shuttle, originating from the North side of the Vienna Metro Station, stops at designated Shuttle stops within Fair Lakes at 30 minute intervals weekday mornings and afternoons. Datatel may be accessed from the F.L. 1 & F.L. 2 stops.
