The online application and nomination processes for the 2008-2009 academic year are now closed. Final scholarship decisions will be made in May and announced on this site by May 5th. Letters regarding your nominees' status will also be mailed to you in May.
The 2009-2010 application cycle will open on September 1, 2008.

What does the Scholarship Administrator do?
The Datatel Scholars Foundation has grown so successful because of the involvement of the Scholarship Administrators of Datatel’s clients. The Foundation relies on each participating client institution to:
- Ensure students are aware of the Datatel Scholars Foundation scholarship opportunities.
- Provide student assistance with the on-line application, if needed.
- Evaluate scholarship applications and identify and nominate outstanding candidates.
- Receive scholarship checks and deposit into scholar’s student account.
- Provide the Foundation with on-going feedback regarding the application and evaluation process.
How do we find out who is designated as our school's Scholarship Administrator?
A current listing of the administrators in our database can be found here. Only schools that are current Datatel clients are eligible to participate in this scholarship program.
How can we update our school's Scholarship Administrator?
Please email the following information to scholars@datatel.com
- Your institution
- Your name
- Your title
- Your full contact information, including email address
It is important for the Foundation to have the appropriate name and email address of the person who is responsible for reviewing applications and nominating students. Only people who have been recognized by the Foundation as the scholarship adminstrator will have access to those application.
How do Administrators view the applications and nominate students?
The Review & Nomination Tool is the web-based tool used to review applications and nominate students. Scholarship administrators can review applications that have been submitted by logging into the Review & Nomination Tool.
