Dashboards for the FA Director

Datatel has created a series of dashboards incorporating the strategy of higher education with the powerful database of record, Colleague, to provide actionable information. We know the data, where it resides, and how to map it into the dashboards, so that work is already done. You simply review what is there, define the thresholds that are appropriate for your institution, and begin making decisions with this important information visible where it should be.

The dashboards answer the following business questions for the FA Director:

• FA Director How much financial aid money has been awarded/offered to students?
• By year? Transmitted to AR? Not transmitted to AR?
• What is the breakdown of the awarded/offered amounts by award types?
• What is the number of students who have submitted ISIRs that are Pell eligible? How many of the enrolled students at the institution are receiving some type of aid for the given year?
• How many ISIRs were received by "today" (showing current compared to last year at this time)?
• How many current ISIRs were selected for verification for the number of ISIRs received?
• What is the total ISIR received for the given year?
• For previous years?
• Of the number students who submitted their ISIR records, how many are missing some type of documentation?
• How many ISIRs selected for verification have not been completed? By counselor?
• What is the breakdown of the awarded/offered aid by award category?
• What is the average aid amount awarded/offered for each award category?
