Dashboards for the Registrar

Datatel has created a series of dashboards incorporating the strategy of higher education with the powerful database of record, Colleague, to provide actionable information. We know the data, where it resides, and how to map it into the dashboards, so that work is already done. You simply review what is there, define the thresholds that are appropriate for your institution, and begin making decisions with this important information visible where it should be.

The dashboards answer the following business questions for the Registrar:

• How many first-time, full-time freshman students have paid enrollment deposits for the start term and how does it compare to the last year?
• How many students are currently enrolled compared to the same date last year?
• What is the percentage of students that were new the previous term who have enrolled for the current term?
• Who are the first-time, full-time cohorts from the previous fall that have returned and enrolled in one or more courses for the following fall?
• How many sections are being offered by each academic department, division, or school and how full are they?
• How many sections have waitlists and what are the sections with the largest waitlists?
• How many students are on probation and what programs have the highest probation lists?
